Our Community
Shenandoah Valley is a subdivision of the Battle Creek Golf Community located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Shenandoah Valley has a total of 182 lots. 158 lots are occupied and are members of our Property Owners' Association as of January 18, 2006. Our homeowners are proud of our neighborhood which is nestled between four fairways on beautiful Battle Creek Golf Course. Shenandoah Valley is the perfect place to call home.
This site is where you can keep up with the latest happenings in and around Shenandoah Valley. Our Property Owners' Association provides support for you, our neighbors. We urge our members to get involved by attending meetings, joining committees and keeping in touch with us. City of Broken Arrow Holidays
The City of Broken Arrow establishes a holiday schedule at the start of each
year, with the standard holidays observed for the most part. Employees are
also given a "floating" holiday which they may take on their own.
On City holidays, the City Hall offices will be
closed and most employees will have the day off. Police and fire departments,
of course, remain open. And, if emergency calls require the services of Public
Works crews in water or streets, etc., they will be brought in to fix the
emergency.
If a City Council is scheduled for a Monday which is a holiday, it will be
moved to the following night. The same is true for other City board meetings.
2008 Trash Pickup for the residents in Shenandoah Valley I & II
If a holiday falls on a Monday, there will be no trash
pickup that day.
Instead, it will be picked up the following day (Tuesday).
If a holiday falls on a Sunday, there will be no trash pickup on Monday.
If a holiday falls on a Thursday, There will be
only one pickup that week (Monday)
